This workshop is designed for all levels of experience and fitness. Whether you are highly active or new to physical training, you will be able to participate in a way that feels both accessible and appropriately challenging”.

We will begin with an interactive discussion on awareness, prevention, and decision-making under pressure, then transition into hands-on training focused on instinctive, effective techniques grounded in Krav Maga principles.

The training is practical, adaptable, and intentionally paced. You are encouraged to work at your own level, with options to increase intensity or scale back as needed.

You can expect:

  • A mix of discussion and movement
  • Clear, step-by-step instruction
  • Partner drills in a controlled environment
  • Practical skills that rely on instinct
  • Opportunities to practice threat evaluation and response under pressure

What to Bring / Wear:

  • Clean indoor/gym shoes
  • Dress in comfortable/fitness style clothing
  • Water bottle
  • Hair ties (if applicable)
  • Any personal medical supports you may need (brace, inhaler, etc.)

You do not need any prior training or specialized equipment–just come ready to learn! (learn at your own pace/comfort level, We will have multiple instructors and Highly encourage at people of  ALL LEVELS to participate!)

Training workshop by  former  Israeli IDF trainer and Champion "Raz Chen"

Born and raised in Israel, Raz trained under Master Gabi Noah. Raz served in counter-terrorism and urban warfare missions. He became a Senior military Krav Maga instructor and head of the Krav Maga program. He taught over 10,000 soldiers, including Special Forces in IDF units, including Lotar Counter-Terrorism, the Oketz K-9 unit, and US Marines. Raz placed first in the IDF Krav Maga championship in 2010. Raz is a senior instructor for Guardian Self-Defense, nonprofit teaching self-defense in the Jewish community.
