Israel Up Close
Israel Up Close is a five-part series exploring voices, images, and stories from Israel’s first eight decades. Through literature, visual art, and cultural discussion, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Israeli life and society. The series will be led by Dr. Lesley Litman, an experienced Jewish educator who has held leadership roles across
North America, including serving as the founding director of the Executive MA Program in Jewish Education at HUC-JIR. Lesley lived in Israel for ten years and was a founder of Kibbutz Yahel. She is also a proud member of the Worcester JCC community.
