Welcome Lidor David & Dror Ben Ami –our 2010-2011 Israeli Young Emissaries
Lidor David and Dror Ben Ami arrived in our community on September 2. Lidor is from Gan Ner and Dror is from Afula. Among the topics that Lidor and Dror will cover in our Hebrew and Hebrew High Schools and Clark Hillel include history, geography, culture, natural resources, Hebrew language, holidays and Israeli cuisine.

PJ Library open for new enrollments
The PJ Library is now taking new applications for their successful PJ Libary Program. Thanks to the generosity of the Harold N. Cotton Memorial Fund and the Jewish Federation of Central MA the program will now be expanded to 200 children in the central Massachusetts area.
The PJ Library (PJ as in pajamas) provides your family with a FREE treasury of Jewish books and music.

Shechitah Allowed in New Zealand Until Trial

SYDNEY, Australia (JTA) – A New Zealand judge has allowed the kosher slaughter of animals to resume until the lawsuit filed by the Jewish community against the government comes to trial.
